effect the tiger had on you, the influence, the inspiration. Give us
ideas on how, together, we can use our pictures to create pressure.
We have the ability to communicate globally. We have websites, Facebook, YouTube,
Twitter, cell phones and email at our disposal, let's

The Demise of the Tiger
By
Jeanne F. Laepple
William Blake would’ve had a fright
To know of his tiger’s present plight
Near extinction for many years
It’s too late now to shed the tears
For, if not soon a way is found
To stop him from being hunted down
For his fur and the rest
Some believe he’s the best
He carries on his fearless fight
To covet his existence as is his right
So many of us on this Earth
Are we the only living things of worth?
Yes, we all want to stay alive,
but the tiger too has the right to survive
His natural habitat we have scattered
And left his life completely shattered
Soon we’ll see the tiger no more
And what has his sacrifice been for?
I wonder when we’ll decide
To stop this devastating ecocide
For the tiger, such a beautiful sight
We have nearly extinguished his light
Soon his eyes will no longer burn bright
‘In the forests of the night’
