Tiger Corbett's Release
Tiger Canyons is offering the Safari of a
lifetime for 2 lucky people prepared to sponsor Tiger Corbett's
release.
The itinerary is as follows:
Friday 5th September 2014:
Arrive at Tiger Canyons on Friday 5th September 2:30 pm
Game Drive photographing tigers and cheetah
Dinner at Tiger Canyons
Accommodation : Starry Nights Karoo Cottages in Philippolis
Saturday 6th September 2014:
06:30 am Game drive photographing tigers
09:00 am Breakfast at the Canyon
10:30 am Under supervision of a professional vet, you dart Corbett.
Corbett is examined and blood is taken for a DNA profile. You are
filmed and photographed by professional photographers. Corbett is
moved to the new area. Under supervision of a professional vet, you
can antidote Corbett. Corbett's freedom is filmed and photographed
and a DVD & CD is produced

06:00 pm Dinner at Tiger Canyons
07:00 pm 'The Corbett Freedom Concert in the Canyon' is played
09:00 pm Auction
11:00 pm Accommodation: Starry Nights in Philippolis
Sunday 7th September 2014:
06:30 am Walking with Kumba and Aurora
10:00 am Breakfast at the Canyon
02:30 pm Game drive searching for tigers and cheetah
06:00 pm Dinner at Tiger Canyons

Safari Ends.
For a donation of $15 000 to the Tigress Julie
Foundation, 2 people can have this once in a lifetime Safari.
The Tigress Zaria Freedom
Safari:
For a donation of $10 000, 2 people can have the
same safari, except under supervision you dart & antidote Tigress
Zaria, who is accompanying Corbett into the new area.
The Corbett Freedom
Concert:
On Saturday 6th September 2014 at 7:30pm, the
concert will be played. The new song "Corbett's Freedom" will be
featured as well as "In the Jaws of the Tiger".
The sponsors of Corbett & Zaria Freedom Safaris
will receive a signed leather-bound copy of "In The Jaws of the
Tiger". In addition, their DVD and CD of the darting and release of
Corbett and Zaria.
The winners of the Ussuri cubs naming competition
will be announced.
Special guests at the concert include Julie
Brown, Julieanne Reid, Phumlani Mchunu who saved JV's life during
Corbett's attack.
Auction
1) During the concert, photographs from the
following photographers will be auctioned: Marsel van Oosten, Yvette
van Bommel, Alex Kirichko, Susan Baden, Lorna Drew, Sean Varty, Tao
Varty, Alex Voronin, Daryl Balfour, Marion Volborn, Adam Bannister
and others.
2) A Big Cat Safari for 2 people will be
auctioned (3 nights Londolozi, 3 nights Tiger Canyons)
3) A white rhino bull, a buffalo bull to be
released at Tiger Canyons will be auctioned.
4) 30 blesbuck and 30 karoo impala will also be
auctioned (to be released at Tiger Canyons)
5) Sponsorship of Ussuri's 2 male cubs will be
auctioned.
6) 5 leather-bound copies of 'In the Jaws of the
Tiger' will be auctioned.
